Galatasaray: No Exit Clause in Osimhen’s Contract

Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek has revealed a critical detail in Victor Osimhen’s contract that underscores the club’s long-term commitment to the Nigerian forward: there is no exit clause.

Speaking during the club’s jersey sponsorship renewal ceremony with Puma, Özbek confirmed that while Osimhen had a €75 million release clause during negotiations with Napoli, Galatasaray’s final agreement removed any such provision.

‘There is no exit clause in the contract we made with Osimhen,’ Özbek stated. ‘He is a football player who will serve Galatasaray for many years.’

The move signals Galatasaray’s intent to build around Osimhen, whose value has already soared beyond the initial transfer fee.

Özbek emphasized that the club’s financial transparency and adherence to TFF and UEFA regulations were central to the deal, adding, ‘Every contract we make is extremely transparent.’
