Galatasaray Renew Pursuit of Onyedika

Galatasaray have reignited their interest in Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika, according to Turkish daily Yeni Akit. The Istanbul giants are preparing for the possible departure of Lucas Torreira this summer and view Onyedika as the ideal replacement in midfield.

The report notes that Galatasaray had made a concrete move for the 25‑year‑old in January, but Club Brugge refused to sanction the transfer, insisting he was too important to their title challenge.

Despite that setback, the Turkish champions remain determined to bring him to RAMS Park.

Yeni Akit highlighted that Galatasaray have attempted to sign Onyedika more than once, and this summer could finally provide the breakthrough. The Nigerian international has already attracted attention across Europe, but Galatasaray’s persistence may prove decisive.
