Governor Sanwo-Olu Excited To Host Arsenal Star Boy, Bukayo Saka at Lagos House

Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu said it was an exciting time at his residence Saturday evening after hosting
Arsenal star, Bukayo Saka.

Saka, born to Nigerian parents plays for Arsenal and the Three Lions, the English national team.

The 21 year old is on holiday in Nigeria after helping Arsenal to return to the UEFA Champions League with his goals and
assists.

An excited Sanwo-Olu posted on his twitter handle Saka’s visit.

‘Exciting day at the State House, Marina today (Saturday) as I had the pleasure of hosting my favorite @Arsenal
player, Star Boy Bukayo Saka. @BukayoSaka87.

‘I also enjoyed receiving my own signed Saka Jersey.

‘As a proud #Gunner, I’m incredibly proud of their inspiring run in the Premier League with such a young team.

‘Their determination has motivated many and shown us the power of youth. We’re committed to bringing that same spirit to
grassroots football in Lagos.

‘Together, let’s create opportunities for our talented young players.

‘Thank you for visiting me Bukayo and I look forward to next season,’ wrote the Governor.

Arsenal are back in the UEFA Champions League for the first time since the 2015/16 season and Saka scored 14 times and
provided 11 assists to help the Gunners secure second spot in the Premier League behind winners, Man City.

Saka featured 48 times across all competitions for Arsenal in the 2022/23 season, scoring 15 times and provided 11 assists.

He was named Premier League player of the month for March after scoring twice and provided two assists in the four games during the month under consideration.
