Gustav Isaksen: ‘Onuachu is magical, best player I’ve played with’

Denmark winger, Gustav Isaksen has named Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu as the best player he has ever played with.

Isaksen played with the Eagles star at Danish side, FC Midtjylland after he rose through the ranks at the club to the senior team.

The former Denmark U-21 forward has now become one of the key players at the club three years after the Nigerian attacker left the club.

Isaksen, who has netted eight goals in 27 appearances for Midtjylland this season, spoke on his experience at the club so far in an interview with Danish website, Tipsbladket.dk.

When asked who is the best player he has shared the dressing room with, he said: “I would say it is Paul Onuachu. When I came up to the first team squad, he was a striker in the team. I just think he was magical. His finishes and in the possession game he was really good”.

He further hailed the Southampton player, whom he further described as a good player.

“You might not expect it, but he is just a good player. My very first training match, it was with him as a striker. It was just a great experience,” he stated.
