Iheanacho, Etebo arrive, 10 Eagles now in camp for Ghana games

Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho and Watford midfielder Emmanuel Dennis have arrived to swell the number of players in the Super Eagles’ The Wells Carlton Hotels and Apartments to 10 ahead of Friday’s 2022 World Cup playoff game against Ghana in Kumasi.

South Africa based goalie Daniel Akpeyi had arrived a few minutes earlier and was followed by team captain, Ahmed Musa.

Earlier in the morning, free-scoring Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia forward Odion Jude Ighalo breezed into camp. The Saudi Arabia-based forward’s arrival increased the number of players in camp Monday morning to six following the arrival of assistant captain William Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun, Semi Ajayi, Ola Aina and Frank Onyeka.

Also expected to arrive later today is Napoli hitman Victor Osimhen.
