Iheanacho set for 199th game for Leicester City

Ndidi seeks return to the starting line-up

Kelechi Iheanacho will be making his 199th appearance for Leicester City when he files out for the Foxes against Brentford on Saturday.

The 26 year old joined the Foxes in 2017 and has featured 198 times for the club since then, scoring 53 goals.

Out of the 198 appearances, the former Manchester City forward has featured142 times in the Premier League and has scored 28 goals for the club.

The Super Eagle has featured 20 times in the Premier League for the club so far this and has scored three times and bagged four assists.

If he scores on Saturday, it will his fourth this season which will make him the joint Nigerian top scorer in the competition so far this year.

That will also take his total tally to 41 in 189 Premier League games.

The goal will also be his second in five appearances against Brentford.

Meanwhile, Iheanacho’s Nigerian compatriot at the club, Wilfred Ndidi will be seeking a return to the starting eleven after he started the last two Premier League games for the Foxes on the bench.

The 26 year old has been substitute in six times in 17 games he has featured for the club this term in the competition, that is half of the total number of times he has been subbed on in his first 171 games for the Foxes..

Ndidi will be featuring for the Foxes for the 228th time on Saturday if he plays and 183 of them will be in the Premier League.
