Iheanacho starts from the bench for the 185th time

Ndidi makes 172nd start in 184 games

Kelechi Iheanacho has been named on the bench for Leicester City’s visit to Selhurst Park to face their host, Crystal Palace in a Premier League matchweek 29 tie.

The Nigerian has been subbed on in 113 of the games and has been left to stay on the bench for the entire duration of the games 71 times since he made his debut in the competition in August 2017.

If he is eventually subbed on in the game, he will be making his 200th appearance across all competitions for the Foxes since August 2017 when he switched Manchester City for Leicester City.

It will also be his 190th appearance in the Premier League since August 2015 when he made his debut in the competition.

The 26 year old has scored 40 times in the competition with 28 coming in 43 appearances for the Foxes while the remaining 12 was scored injust 46 games for his former club.

Meanwhile, Iheanacho’s Nigerian compatriot at the club, Wilfred Ndidi will be making his 13th start in 19 Premier League games this season and 172nd in 184 appearances in the competitions since January 2017 when he joined the Foxes from KRC Genk of Belgium.
