Iwobi beats Bassey, two others to Fulham Man of the Match honour

Nigerian also named EPL man of the match

Fulham supporters have named Alex Iwobi their man of the match after the Nigerian netted a 97th minute winner for the Cottagers for win over Man United at Old Trafford in 21 years.

The 27 year old was also named by the officials website of the Premier League as the best player on the pitch from both sides.

Iwobi was impressive all evening in his 13th appearance against the 20-time League winner but was unfortunate not to have already popped his name on the scoresheet.

For scoring the historic goal that secured Fulham a first win away to United in 21 years, 41.7% of fans give Iwobi their backing for Man of the Match.

Saša Lukić came in second with 23.4%, ahead of Calvin Bassey (11.3%) who scored the opening goal and Rodrigo Muniz (8.9%).
