Iwobi Praised by Santo, Seeks to Extend Record Vs West Ham

Alex Iwobi heads into Wednesday’s London derby against West Ham with praise ringing in his ears from Nuno Espírito Santo, who highlighted the Nigerian’s stunning strike against Tottenham as proof of his quality.
Iwobi has now scored in back-to-back Premier League games for the first time this season, sealing three points for Marco Silva’s Fulham with a goal of real class.
West Ham’s manager acknowledged the threat Iwobi poses, noting the depth of talent in Fulham’s squad. Statistically, the Hale End graduate has enjoyed his best returns against the Hammers, with eight direct goal involvements in 16 matches, two goals and six assists, more than against any other Premier League opponent.
Brighton are next closest, with seven contributions across his meetings with them.
As Fulham look to extend their momentum, Iwobi will be aiming to add to his record against West Ham and continue his strong run of form in front of goal.
