Joe Aribo Arrives, 24 Super Eagles Now In Abuja AFCON Camp

Team to jet out to Garoua Wednesday evening

Glasgow Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo arrived very late Tuesday night to swell the number of players in the Super Eagles AFCON camp to 24.
Aribo was not part of the send off dinner organised by the Federal Government for the team Tuesday evening but will now travel with the team to Garoua Wednesday aboard an Air Peace aircraft.
Earlier on Tuesday, Leicester City duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho led seven others to the team’s nest in Abuja.

Others who joined the team on Tuesday morning are Kenneth Omeruo, Kelechi Nwakali, William Troost-Ekong, Ola Aina, Frank Onyeka and Semi Ajayi.

The Super Eagles will open their AFCON campaign against the Pharaohs of Egypt next Tuesday before taking on Sudan on January 15 and Guinea-Bissau four days later.

All the games will be played at the 30,000 capacity Roumde Adjia stadium in Garoua.
