Juventus set to drop Osimhen transfer plan

Tuttosport, an Italian news outlet, says Juventus, one of the clubs that have been linked with Victor Osimhen, are preparing to shelve the transfer of the Nigerian star.

It has been stated that the biggest obstacle to the transfer for the Italian giant is Osimhen’s annual salary expectation of over 10 million euros.

The newspaper also stated that Juventus no longer want to pay such high salaries to players, so contract renewal talks with Vlahovic, who earned 12 million euros, were also stopped.

According to the report in Tuttosport, Napoli have no intention of selling Osimhen to Juventus.

The Italian team does not want to experience a repeat of the Gonzalo Higuain case in the past.

The fact that Osimhen’s release clause does not cover clubs in Italy also makes Juventus’ hand very difficult.

The report states that Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna is in talks with Manchester United over the transfer of Osimhen.

At this meeting, it was reported that Manchester United could use Rasmus Hojlund in a trade.
