Klopp: ‘Issue with Salah completely resolved’

Departing Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp says the issue he had with club’s top scorer, Mohammed Salah has been resolved.

During Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with West Ham, Salah and Klopp had a heated exchange on the touchline. The incident caught the attention of fans and pundits alike but the Kops’ manager says there is no cause for alarm.

“Completely resolved. It’s no problem. If we didn’t know each other for so long I’m not sure how we would deal with it but we know each other for that long and respect each other too much.

“It’s really no problem so we can deal with these kind of things completely independent of any expectations from the outside.

“We are absolutely fine with it but in general the best situation would be, everybody in the best possible place, we win the game, score lots of goals and yes the situation probably would not have been like that. It all depends on each other,’ Klopp told the media at his pre-match media conference on Friday.

Liverpool host Tottenham on Sunday and will be hoping Arsenal and Man City lose so that they can get back into the title race with only three games remaining.
