Klopp wants Osimhen to lead Liverpool attack as agent fears Napoli will sell in-demand Nigerian

La Gazzetta dello Sport, Italy’s number one sports news oulet says Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp has identified Victor Osimhen as the perfect replacement for
Roberto Osimhen who left Anfield at the end of the 2022/23 season.

According to the sports news outlet ‘Klopp wants a proven striker to lead the frontline alongside Darwin Nunez, following the departure of Roberto Firmino.

The Reds management is reportedly eyeing an aggressive poacher who prefers to play vertically, and Osimhen perfectly fits the bill.’

It was also revealed Liverpool have already made contact with Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda, who is open to talks.

Napoli owner, De Laurentiis is however seeking to extend the Nigerian’s stay at the club despite the big interest in the 24 year old.Meanwhile, agent Dario
Canovi feels Osimhen will be sold by Napoli this summer.
