L’Équipe: Lile and OG Nice in transfer race for Moses Simon

France’s most authoritative sports newspaper, L’Équipe says FC Nantes winger Moses Simon is garnering attention from Lille and OGC Nice.

With the 27 year old Nigerian’s contract approaching its final year, both Lille and OGC Nice have expressed their interest in acquiring the services of the
Super Eagles winger.

Moses Simon has become one of the potential departures from FC Nantes this summer and Lille and OGC Nice have emerged as the leading contenders vying for his
signature.

Simon scored 5 goals and registered four assists in 34 appearances this season to help his club avoid the drop into Ligue 2, finishing 16th on the log with
36 poins, just one point above relegated Auxerre.

He featured eight times for Nantes on their way to the play-off stage of the Europa League against Juventus and the reported transfer fee has been put
between €4 million and €5 million.

Simon joined Nantes from LaLiga side, Levante in July 2020 and his contract will expire at the end of June 2024.
