Liverpool Vs Arsenal: Saka hoping to score the winner again as Gunners target first win at Anfield since September 2012!

Bukayo Saka scored twice, including the winner in Arsenal’s 3-2 defeat of Liverpool in a Premier League at the Emirates stadium in October 2022 and the 22
year old will be looking to score another winner when he files out with the Gunners at Anfield this Saturday.

Saka has featured five times against Liverpool in the Premier League and scored just twice.

Arsenal will be hoping for the British-Nigerian to score again as they bid for their first win at Anfield since September 2012 when they won 2-0 courtesy of
Lukas Podolski and Santi Cazorla goals as the top two in the Premier League go head to head on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta and his boys know it will not be an easy match as Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 13 home games against the Gunners in all competitions
since that September date in 2012.

The Gunners will not only be hoping for Saka to score, they will also bank on their record there as they have drawn on three of their last four visits to
Anfield.

They will also be buoyed by the fact that Liverpool lost their 100 per cent home record last weekend when Manchester United ground out a 0-0 draw.

Arsenal manager, Arteta believes it will be a very explosive game at Anfield

‘It’s going to be a special atmosphere. [Both] teams are in a really strong position and I’m sure both teams have prepared the game to win it. It’s going to
be an intense match.

“I’m sure that a lot of [our supporters] are going to show up tomorrow there and they’re going to be supporting the team, like always,’ the Spaniard was
quoted as saying on Arsenal’s official website.

Meanwhile, Saka will be looking to score his sixth Premier League goal of the season and go above Eddie Nketiah as Arsenal’s top scorer in the competition this season.

He scored 14 times last season, just one behind the duo of Gabriel Martinelli and captain Martin Ødegaard.
