Lookman out for the fifth straight Serie A game, misses chance to score home and away vs Juventus
Nigerian loses steam in 2022/23 top scorer's race

Atalanta will be without Ademola Lookman for the fifth consecutive Serie A game when they host Juventus Sunday at the Gewiss Stadium.
The Nigerian has not featured for the Bergamo-based side since he played for 55 minutes in his club’s loss to visiting Bologna due to a Biceps femoris muscle injury.
Prior to that, Lookman started 20 of the 28 games he played in his first season in the Italian topflight, netting 13 times and provided five assists.
The 25 year old made history as the first Atalanta player to score 13 goals in his first season with club in 70 years.
His 13 goals is also the most he has scored in a single league season in his career and the first time he will score double figures.
The former Everton, Fulham and Leicester City loanee will now miss the chance to keep pace in the 2022/23 Serie A top scorer’s race as he is now nine goals behind his compatriot, Victor Osimhen who tops with 22 goals.
He will also miss the chance to make Juventus the second team he will score home and away against after Sampdoria in a single Serie A season.
Lookman scored twice and provided an assist when Atalanta drew 3-3 at the Allianz Stadium when both teams first met in January.
His three goal involvements against Juventus is the joint most he has had in his first Serie A season against any club.
