Maduka Okoye keeps fourth clean sheet for Sparta

Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper Maduka Okoye was, for the second game in a row impregnable as he inspired Sparta to a vital 1-0 defeat of visiting Go Ahead Eagles at the Sparta stadion on Saturday.

Last weekend Okoye stood between Vitesse and goal(s), leading Sparta to a crucial win until crowd trouble from the home fans ended the game in the 92nd minute.

On Saturday, Okoye was in superb form again as he led his club to another vital win as the club battles against relegation.

The clean sheet was fourth of the season in 21 games and 14th in 50 games for the club across all competitions.
