Nantes Vs Lyon: Lacazette starts in 500th club career game

Former Arsenal striker, Alexandre Lacazette started for Lyon in their Ligue 1 matchweek 18 fixtures against their host, Moses Simon’s Nantes at the Stade de la Beaujoire on Wednesday evening.

It is the 500th game of his club career in all competitions, scoring 210 goals with these two clubs.

The 31 year old scored 71 times and bagged 36 assists in 206 appearances for Arsenal with 158 of the appearances coming in the Premier League where he scored 54 times, bagged 25 assists and won 75 times.

He won the goal of the month award once in his final season with the Gunners (2021/22).

For Lyon, Lacazette, in his two spells scored 139 goals, provided 47 assists in 293 games before Wednesday evening’s game at Nantes.
