Ndidi rated joint best Leicester City performer at Fulham

Leicester City deservedly lost 2-1 to Leicester City at Craven Cottage in their second game of the 2024/25 Premier League season but their Nigerian player, Wilfred Ndidi has been rated one of the best players for the Foxes.

The Nigerian rated just average in the Foxes’ opening game of the campaign against Tottenham put in a much more purposeful display and his efforts did not go unnoticed to Leicester Mercury, the authority newspaper on anything that pertains to the club.

The newspaper rated the 27-year-old six out of 10, the best rating received by any Leicester City player in the game.

‘A solid showing. He made tackles off the ball, was generally tidy on it, albeit perhaps needed to make himself an option more often, and then when he was pushed forward late on, he carried the ball with purpose,’ wrote the newspaper about the performance of the midfielder.

Ndidi made five tackles with a 40% success rate.
