Ndidi set for 205th Premier League game, 191st start

Wilfred Ndidi will be starting his 13th straight Premier League game of the season on Saturday at the Gtech Community Stadium where his side, Leicester City will face their host, Brentford in a match week 13 fixture.

It will also be his 191st start in 205 appearances since he made his debut in the competition in January 2017 following his switch from KRC Genk of Belgium.

The 27 year old will be keen to get Leicester City and new boss Ruud van Nistelrooy back to winning ways after two defeats in a row against Man United and Chelsea.

If he helps the Foxes to a win, it will his 80th in the competition.

At the City Ground in Nottingham, Ola Aina has also been listed to make his 13th start in a row when his side, Nottingham Forest host Ipswich Town.

Aina has been in spectacular form for Forest this season and has scored once in the 12 appearances he has made from his wing-back position.

Meanwhile, Aina’s compatriot at the club, Taiwo Awoniyi has been pushed back to the substitutes’ bench again after failing to make an impact in the club’s 3-0 bashing at Arsenal last week.

Awoniyi has started just twice this season and has neither scored nor provided an assist which is in sharp contrast to his performance last season when he netted four goals and bagged two assists in the opening 12 games of the Premier League season.
