Ndidi set to sign new Leicester City deal after rejecting offers from five clubs

Wilfred Ndidi reportedly rejected five offers and he is close to signing a new contract with Leicester City after his deal expired at the end of last month.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the Nigerian received five contract offers from other clubs, with the 27-year-old linked to the likes of Everton, Marseille, and Sevilla over the past few weeks.
Ndidi joined the Foxes in January 2017 and went on to make 273 appearances for the club across all competitions. He scored and bagged 17 assists in the process.
Reports late on Wednesday night said the 27 year old will sign a three-year deal which will include a release clause and which will take his spell at the club beyond a decade.
Ndidi was a big part of the club’s successful return to the Premier League after dropping down to the Sky Bet Championships at the end of the 2022/23 season. He scored four goals and provided five assists in the 32 games he featured in for the Foxes in the second tier of English football.
Ndidi has been a huge signing for Premier League and in all of his first four full seasons in the Premier League, the Nigerian ranked in the division’s top two for combined tackles and interceptions.
