Nigeria Sweep Burundi 3-0 to Maintain Unbeaten Start in Alexandria
Nigeria continued their impressive campaign at the 2026 CAVB African U-18 Boys’ Volleyball Championship with a commanding 3-0 victory over Burundi on Day 4 of the competition in Alexandria, Egypt.
The Nigerian youngsters dominated the encounter from start to finish, winning 25-16, 25-11 and 25-16 to record their third consecutive victory and maintain their unbeaten start to the tournament.
Nigeria opened their campaign with a straight-sets victory over Morocco before producing an impressive 3-1 win against hosts Egypt.
Their latest success over Burundi further strengthens their position among the leading contenders for the continental title.
