‘Not The Result We Wanted, But The Boys Will Come Back Stronger’: Kano Pillars Move On From Sporting Lagos Draw

Kano Pillars have quickly turned their attention to their next challenge after being held to a 1-1 draw by Sporting Lagos in the NPFL on Saturday.

The Sai Masu Gida were unable to extend their winning run after Valentine Ugwu put Sporting Lagos ahead shortly before half-time, with Abdullahi Musa equalising four minutes into the second half.

With the result behind them, Pillars will now regroup and prepare for their rescheduled Round 3 fixture against Shooting Stars on Wednesday.

‘Not the result we wanted but the boys will come back stronger next time,’ the club wrote on it social media page.

Pillars sit fifth on the table with 10 points from six matches and remain unbeaten, having recorded two wins and four draws.

The Kano club will be looking to return to winning ways when they face Shooting Stars in the rescheduled encounter.
