Nothingham Forest Vs Crystal Palace: Awoniyi targets fourth goal at the City Ground in eight games

Taiwo Awoniyi will be aiming to score his fourth Premier League goal in eight appearances at the City Ground when Nothingham Forest host Crystal Palace Saturday at the same ground.

The Nigerian has scored three times for Forest with all coming at the City Ground. If he scores, it will make him the top scoring Nigerian in the Premier League in 2022.

Meanwhile, Emmanuel Dennis will seeking to score his first goal and get his first win in three Premier League appearances against Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace.

The 24 year old is looking to make his fourth start in 10 games for Nothingham Forest since he joined in the summer and 34th in 43 games since he made his debut in the competition in August 2021.

He has scored once and bagged an assist for Forest. If he scores on Saturday, it will be his 12th in 42 Premier League games and will make him the 13th most prolific Nigerian in competition history.

If he bags an assist, it will be his second of the season and eighth in history which will take him above Ademola Lookman and Obafemi Martins who have seven assists each in the Premier league.
