NPFL: Shooting Stars take six game unbeaten run to Niger Tornadoes, may go fifth on the log

Shooting Stars FC of Ibadan will be confident of recording their second away win in less than two weeks when they face Niger Tornadoes in their NPFL matchweek fixture at the Ahmadu Bello stadium in Kaduna on Monday.

The Oluyole Warriors have won their last three games and have been unbeaten since they lost 1-0 to Enyimba in Aba on February 17, 2024.

They face a Niger Tornadoes side who have been fairly consistent at home and have won eight, lost two and drawn three of the 13 games they have played at home.

They were hammered 4-1 at the Lekan Salami stadium when both sides met in Ibadan last November and Niger Tornadoes will feel it is pay back time while Shooting Stars will be seeking to beat a team home and away for the second time this season after Doma United.

A win for Shooting Stars on Monday evening will lift them up to fifth on the log with 43 points from 27 games.
