Oghenebrume set to make his first appearance of the season

Onojuvwevwo, Umukoro, Nse Uko also set for the Corky Classic in Texas

Following Temitope Adeshina’s record breaking performance in the high jump event on the opening day at the Corky Classic at Texas Tech’s Sports
Performance Center in Lubbock in Texas, all eyes will now be on sprinter, Godson Oghenebrume as he is set to make his season’s debut.

Oghenebrume is set to make his first appearance of the season after he didn’t start at last weekend’s Louisiana State University, LSU, Purple Tiger in the 60 meter.

The Bowerman Watch List member will compete in the 200m event where he holds an indoor personal best of 21.12 seconds and an outdoor/overall personal best of 20.72 seconds from last season’s SEC Outdoor Championships.

Also competing are Ella Onojuvwevwo for the LSU in the 200m and the 4x400m relays, Success Umukoro of Texas Tech University also in the 200m event while former World U20 champion, Imaobong Nse Uko will run in Baylor University’s 4x400m relay team.
