Ola Aina doubtful for Forest game Vs Arsenal

Nottingham Forest’s injury woes continue as Nigerian defender Ola Aina is now a doubt for Saturday’s Premier League clash against Arsenal, following a knock sustained on international duty.

Aina featured in both of Nigeria’s recent World Cup qualifiers, starting in the 1-0 win over Rwanda in Uyo and the 1-1 draw against South Africa in Bloemfontein.

However, he was forced off in the 10th minute of Tuesday’s match after a challenge from South Africa’s Samukele Kabini brought him down while attacking down the right flank.

According to the London Evening Standard, Aina has suffered a hamstring injury, although he was able to walk off the pitch.

Aina is yet to win against Arsenal in four appearances. He has drawn two and lost two. He has featured in 94 Premier League games with 60 of them coming in the colours of Forest.
