Ola Aina’s market value soars to career highest; Iwobi, Awoniyi, Bassey and Onyeka’s remain unchanged

Nothingham Forest defender, Ola Aina’s market value has risen to his career highest of €10m following transfermarkt’s upgrade of the Premier League market values.

Aina was valued €8m just about three months ago but it has now risen following his eye-ctaching performance at the 34th Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire where he was named in the team of the competition.

The 27 year old is now ranked the 16th most valuable Nigerian and 313rd among all Premier League players.

Aina is the 15th most valuable Nothingham Forest player and globally, he is now ranked 973 among all players worldwide While Aina’s market value soared, his Super Eagles teammates’ value has remained unchanged.

Taiwo Awoniyi is still valued at €28m after his value dropped from €30m in December 2023. The Forest forward is the fourth most valuable Nigerian so far and third among all Nothingham Forest players.

Alex Iwobi’s value is also unchanged at €28m which makes him joint fourth with Awoniyi among Nigerian players and second most valuable Fulham players.

Calvin Bassey is in his first season in the Premier League but his market value has not improved to the €16m it rose to last December. The defender is ranked
number 9 among all players from Nigeria, 10th among all players at Fulham and 607th among all players worldwide.

Frank Onyeka is also not left out as his value has not changed from the €9m it was in December. He is ranked number 18 among all players from Nigeria and number 19 among all players at Brentford.
