Onuachu Returns to Trabzonspor Training Ahead of Fenerbahçe Game

Trabzonspor have received a timely boost ahead of their Super Lig clash with Fenerbahçe, as striker Paul Onuachu has returned to full training after missing two sessions.

The Nigerian forward, who was rested following knocks sustained in the club’s last match, joined his teammates in training on Wednesday.

If there are no setbacks, he is expected to start against Fenerbahçe on Saturday, February 14, in week 22 of the league campaign.

While Onuachu’s recovery is encouraging for Trabzonspor fans, uncertainty remains over the fitness of Viktor Zubkov. The Ukrainian winger is scheduled to undergo an MRI scan, and although he may be named on the bench, his participation in the ‘giant match’ is still in doubt.

Onuachu is Turkish Super ig joint top scorer with Eldor Shomurodov who plays for Istanbul Basaksehir. They are both on 15 goals.
