Osimhen insists on special release clause as Al-Ahli managers storm Italy

Victor Osimhen seems to have changed his mind about playing his football is oil rich Saudi Arabia and the Napoli forward is insisting on a release clause that can trigger his return to Europe.

This is according to international transfer expert and journalist, Luca Marchetti.

Marchetti has told Sky Sport 24 that Saudi Pro League side is not relenting in its pursuit of the Nigerian who has scored … in … for Napoli since switched from Ligue 1 side, Lille in September 2020.

‘Al Ahli’s pressing for Osimhen continues albeit there is still no agreement with the Nigerian and also with Napoli.

‘Chelsea has made a low offer especially on the subject of the player’s engagement. There is still no agreement between Osimhen and Al-Ahli and between the Saudi club and Napoli.

‘In the next few hours there will be a direct confrontation with the player’s agent, given that the Al-Ahli managers have arrived in Italy precisely to talk about this coup”.

“The offer to the Nigerian could exceed 30 million a year and to Napoli an offer of more than 70 million euros. But it is an ongoing negotiation, there is already a very important awareness on the part of the player, until a few years ago the agent had closed to the Arab championship “.

“The meeting is not just a gesture of courtesy, but there is a desire to see what kind of offer can arrive. The key may be an exit clause that could allow Osimhen, if there is a chance, to return to play in Europe,” Marchetti reported.
