Osimhen is 22nd Eagle in camp for Guinea-Bissau AFCON qualifiers
Napoli hitman Victor Osimhen is the latest player to arrive the Super Eagles Abuja camp as preparation continues for Friday’s first leg of the qualifying game for the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations against Guinea-Bissau.
The goal machine who has netted 25 times across all competitions for Napoli this term breezed in Tuesday evening to swell the number in camp to 22.
Osimhen is expected to lead the line when the match gets underway as the Eagles are aiming to keep their 100% record intact and seal qualification with games to spare.
The Napoli player will be part of the training session on Wednesday.
Also in camp is Villarreal forward Samuel Chukwueze who scored in his club’s 3-0 win at Osasuna in a LaLiga game on Sunday, Ademola Lookman, Terem Moffi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Kevin Akpoguma, Joe Aribo, Alex Iwobi and Semi Ajayi.
Others are Aniagbaso, Francis Uzoho, Bameyi, Kenneth Omeruo, Frank Onyeka, Moses Simon, Paul Onuachu, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Sochima, Onyemaechi and Ajax defender Calvin Bassey.
