Osimhen is fourth fastest Napoli player to reach 50 goals

Victor Osimhen is the fourth fastest player in Napoli history to reach 50 goals.
The Nigerian scored his 50th and 51st goal in his 90th appearance for the Partenopei following his brace against Eintracht Frankfurt in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie in Naples.
According to Italian news outlet, Il Mattino, Osimhen only three players viz Edinson Cavani, Luís Vinício and José Altafini reached 50 goals in less than 90 games.
Cavani spent three seasons with Napoli after joining in the 2010/11 season and scored 49 Serie A goals in his first two seasons and in 70 appearances. The Uruguayan added 29 more in his final season to make it 78 goals in just 104 games in the league.
In total, he scored 104 goals in 138 games for Napoli across all competitions to sit as sixth in the club’s all-time top scorer’s list.
Vinício, a Brazilian scored 70 times in 154 games for Napoli, netting 69 goals in 151 Serie games alone in his first three seasons while Altafini, an Italian netted 89 goals in 224 games across all competitions for Napoli. In the Serie A alone, he scored 43 goals in his first 90 games.
Osimhen’s 51 goals also pushed up to 15th in the club’s all-time top scorer’s list.
