Osimhen Rejects Jorge Mendes’ Offer To Become His Agent

Victor Osimhen has reportedly rejected an offer from renowned Portuguese football agent Jorge Mendes to represent him, insisting that his full concentration remains on Galatasaray.
According to Turkish publication Haber Sarı Kırmızı, citing journalist Ali Naci Küçük, Mendes approached the 27-year-old Nigerian striker with an offer to become his agent but was turned down.
Osimhen reportedly responded: ‘All my concentration is on Galatasaray right now.’
The reported approach comes amid Osimhen’s close relationship with Galatasaray, where he has established himself as a key figure since joining the Turkish giants.
Mendes is one of football’s most influential agents, having represented numerous high-profile players and worked on major transfers involving leading European clubs.
His reported interest in Osimhen could have opened another significant chapter in the striker’s career, but the Nigerian has allegedly opted to maintain his focus on his current club.
Osimhen, 27, remains an important part of Galatasaray’s ambitions in domestic and European competitions. His reported response suggests that he is not looking to be distracted by developments concerning his representation while concentrating on his performances for the Istanbul club.
However, the reported approach and rejection have not been independently confirmed, and neither Osimhen nor Mendes is quoted directly beyond the statement attributed to the striker by the Turkish report.
