Osimhen up for Serie A player of the month of November award
Nigerian to battle four others for the best player honour
Nigeria and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen is among five players that have been nominated for the Serie A player of the month of November award.
The Super Eagles player scored twice and provided two assists for Napoli in three games in the month under review.
The Nigerian will however be challenged by fellow Napoli player, Piotr Zielinski who scored twice and bagged an assist also in three Serie A appearances in November.
Also nominted is Everton player, Moises Kean who is on loan at rejuvenated Juventus.
The 22 year old returned from an injury to score two goal in just two games in November.
Fiorentian star, Giacomo Bonaventura is also in the running for the award. The 33 year old scored twice in two games and was benched in his club’s 2-1 loss at AC Milan last weekend.
Inter Milan player, Federico Dimarco completes the list of nominees.
The 25 year old scored twice and provided an assist in three Serie A games in November.
Voting has since commenced and will close on Sunday November 20 on the website of the Serie A, www.legaseriea.it.
