Portugal Coach Jorge Jesus: Osimhen, Haaland Are World’s Strongest Strikers

Portugal coach Jorge Jesus has placed Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen alongside Erling Haaland when discussing the strongest strikers in world football.

‘I think Haaland is the strongest striker in the forward position right now, not only physically but also technically,’ Jesus said.

Jesus then brought Osimhen into the conversation, highlighting the Nigerian’s qualities inside the penalty area.

‘Osimhen and Haaland are the strongest strikers in the penalty area right now,’ he added.

The comments provide another major endorsement of Osimhen’s standing among elite strikers, with Jesus effectively placing the Galatasaray forward in the same category as Haaland when it comes to attacking the penalty area.
