PSG determined to sign Osimhen as Nigerian trains alone in Napoli’s pre-season camp

Leading French sports newspaper, L’Équipe says PSG are determined to sign Osimhen with the Nigerian international expected to leave Napoli this summer.
The 25 year old has been linked with several clubs since the end of the 2022/23 season, especially after netting 26 times in 32 games to lead Napoli to their first Scudetto in 33 years.
In fact, PSG had previously been linked with the striker in 2023 when they had tried to persuade Napoli to part ways their star.
However, Les Parisiens eventually gave up on their pursuit after two bids over €100 million were rejected by the then Serie A champions.
L’Équipe reports that PSG will not activate Osimhen’s release clause of €130 million with the French champions believing it to be excessive, they will instead try and convince Napoli to lower their price.
Meanwhile, Osimhen trained separately for the second day in a row due to muscle fatigue, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Nigerian didn’t join his teammates on the pitch but worked separately in the gym instead.
Osimhen is reported to be dreaming of moving to the Premier League but bids have come from English clubs yet despite the reported interest from Arsenal and Chelsea.
