Real Betis Plot Onyemaechi Move

Real Betis are considering a move for Nigeria international Bruno Onyemaechi as they look to strengthen their defence.

The La Liga club are monitoring the Olympiacos left-back, who could be available for around €6 million.

Onyemaechi was linked with a move away from Olympiacos during the summer, but the Greek champions opted to keep the 27-year-old.

According to transfer expert Ekrem Konur, Olympiacos are now prepared to consider offers for the defender as they look to make a significant profit on the player.

The Greek club signed Onyemaechi from Portuguese side Boavista for around €2 million in January 2025.

Betis have yet to make a formal offer, however, and there are currently no negotiations between the two clubs.

Onyemaechi has previously attracted interest from Spain, with La Liga clubs Las Palmas and Getafe having been linked with the Nigerian during his time at Boavista.

The defender has established himself as a regular at Olympiacos and remains part of the Nigeria setup.
