Real Madrid, Everton to launch move for Chukwueze

Samuel Chukwueze is the subject of interest from LaLiga giants, Real Madrid and struggling Premier League club, Everton, according to Spanish outlet Marca.

Marca reports that both clubs are interested in the Nigerian winger who singlehandedly, as it were, destroyed the Los Blancos last weekend in a 3-2 loss to Villarreal.

Real Madrid preisdent, Florentino Perez, is reported to be considering the 23 year old winger a potential target for the summer transfer window.

Marca reports the Madrid chief recently held informal discussions during Los Blancos’ La Liga game with Villarreal this past weekend. The player has a release clause worth €100 million in his contract.

Meanwhile, Everton are still hopeful they can sign the Nigerian if they aviod relegation this season.

However, Radio Marca presenter Pedro Pablo Parrado claimed Chukwueze is set for a Premier League move.

“Half the Premier League loved him, the latest one was Everton,” Parrado said.

Chukwueze is enjoying his best season yet for Villarreal, amassing 13 goals and 11 assists in 40 appearances thus far. His contract will expire in less than 18 months.
