Real Madrid return to battle Man United for Osimhen

Los Blancos 'eyeing big-money move for Nigerian'

The media in Spain says Real Madrid are in the hunt for Nigeria and Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen.

The Los Blancos, according to Sport has identified the Nigerian as a potential incoming during next summer’s transfer window.

The 23 year old has a contract with Napoli until June 2025, and there have been claims that he is valued by the Italian giants in the region of £90m.

The report from Sport claims that a move for Osimhen is likely to be related to the future of Eden Hazard, as the club will need to shift his big wage packet before bringing in another high-profile forward.

Osimhen tops the Serie A top scorers chart this season despite missing four league games earlier this season due to a muscular problem.

His eight goals are the most scored by any player in the Serie A so far this season.

Real Madrid will however have to battle with Man United for the signature of the Nigerian.

The Red Devils are still thought to retain an interest in Osimhen who has a record of 37 goals and 12 assists in 75 games for the Blues since his

arrival from Lille in September 2020.
