Galatasaray’s record signing Victor Osimhen is proving to be worth every euro, both on the pitch and in the club’s coffers.
Signed last summer for €75 million, the Nigerian striker has already delivered 16 goals and 5 assists this season, including the decisive strike against Juventus that secured Galatasaray’s place in the Champions League round of 16.
Osimhen’s impact goes beyond sporting success. His goals have directly earned Galatasaray 12 points across the Süper Lig and Champions League, translating into significant financial rewards.
According to Sabah newspaper, the forward has already generated 84 percent of his annual salary of €21 million through his performances. In monetary terms, his contributions have brought in €17.5 million, with the potential to add another €12 million should Galatasaray progress to the quarter-finals.
The striker’s influence has been described as ‘single-handedly filling Galatasaray’s coffers,’ underlining his dual role as both a sporting talisman and a financial asset.
