Scholes: Man United don’t have the players capable of beating Man City

Premier League pundit Paul Scholes says Manchester United are far behind Man City in terms of quality. He said the Red Devils knew before the game they could not compete toe to toe with their host.

“It’s probably the right result. Man City are a class above at the moment. Man Utd knew that if they went toe-to-toe they would probably get beat, so they came to make it difficult.

‘They don’t have the players at the moment that are capable of beating Man City,’ said Scholes who scored 107 goals in 499 Premier League appearances.
