Sha’Carri Richardson says there is still room to improve after winning in Zurich

World 100m champion, Shar Carri Richardson believes the world has not seen her best yet after running 10.88 to win her third Diamond League 100m race to
secure her place in the final in Oregon, USA middle of next month.

The American who set a Championships record and lifetime best of 10.65 in Budapest, Hungary to become the eighth American woman to win the blue ribband event
at the World Championships is excited to be finishing the season strong.

‘I am feeling really good for being able to finish this season as fast as I can. I am definitely grateful, and I am excited with the way this season is
going.

‘Today, I felt like I executed, and I felt good about my performance – my body felt very good afterwards, but, obviously there is still room to improve.

‘Honestly, just knowing that my training has gotten me here – physically training, mentally training, emotionally training myself – to understand what it
takes to finish an entire season and beyond the World Championships,’ she said in her post race interview.

Richardson won her first Diamond League 100m race in Doha, Qatar in May and won her second just last month (July) in Silesia, Poland.
