Southampton Vs Fulham: Onuachu, Aribo may be relegated Saturday

Forward Paul Onuachu and midfielder, Joe Aribo look set to be relegated today right in front of their fans when they host Fulham at the Saint Mary stadium in
a Premier League matchweek 36 fixture.

The duo looks to join the list of Nigerian players who have been relegated in their debut Premier League season with the quartet of Emmanuel Dennis, William
Troost-Ekong, Samuel Kalu and Peter Etebo the last set of Super Eagles players to be relegated last season with Watford.

Southampton need to win on Saturday to stand a mathematical chance of avoiding the drop if results go their way in their remaining three games and coach
Ruben Selles does not seem to bank on the club’s Nigerian duo to help start the miracle.

Onuachu scored 16 times in 19 Belgian Pro League matches before switching to Southampton in the Premier League but has failed to even provide an assist in
the 10 games he has featured in so far since his winter transfer.

The 28 year old has started just three of the 10 games with his last start coming last February in the 1-0 loss to Leeds United at Elland Road.

Aribo has become a bit part player since the start of the year, satrting just once in the three appearances he has made.
