Spain Set New European Unbeaten Record After Winning 2026 World Cup

Spain have capped a remarkable period of dominance by setting a new record for the longest unbeaten run by a European men’s national team, extending their streak to 38 matches.

The record-breaking run has now been crowned with the ultimate prize, as Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 in extra time to become world champions for the second time in their history.

Spain’s extraordinary sequence includes 32 victories and six draws, with the team maintaining their unbeaten status throughout their latest run of international fixtures.

The triumph also extended Spain’s perfect record in major tournament finals during the 21st century.
