Super Eagles 2027 AFCON Qualifiers to Air Live on DStv, GOtv
Nigerians and Super Eagles fans will be able to watch Nigeria’s opening 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches live on DStv and GOtv as the three-time African champions begin their Group L campaign.
Nigeria will host Madagascar on Friday at 5pm at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo before travelling to Guinea-Bissau for their second qualifier on Tuesday, also at 5pm.
Both matches will be broadcast live on SuperSport, with the Nigeria v Madagascar clash and Guinea-Bissau v Nigeria fixture available on SS La Liga on DStv Channel 204 and SS Pop-up on GOtv Channel 59 for DStv Access and GOtv Value subscribers.
The Super Eagles enter the qualifiers after finishing third at the 2025 AFCON in Morocco, having reached the final of the previous edition in Côte d’Ivoire.
However, Nigeria’s failure to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup has increased the importance of making a positive start to the AFCON qualifying campaign.
Tanzania, one of the hosts of the 2027 tournament alongside Kenya and Uganda, already have an automatic place at the finals. Nigeria, Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau will therefore battle for the remaining qualifying ticket from Group L.
The Super Eagles will be looking to avoid a repeat of the slow start that undermined their previous World Cup qualifying campaign and put themselves in a strong position from the opening two fixtures.
