‘There are no players around to replace Osimhen, you would have to have a crystal ball to find him’
Capello tells Napoli Nigerian is irreplacable
Former AC Milan, AS Roma, Juventus and Real Madrid manager Fabio Capello thinks Napoli will have trouble replacing VictorOsimhen if they allow him to leave this summer.
Osimhen, 25, has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League but Capello, who also coached the English and the Russian national teams fears that Napoli will not be able to replace Osimhen if they sell him at the end of the season.
‘There are no players around to replace Osimhen. You would have to have a crystal ball to find him,’ Capello tells Italian newspaper, Il Mattino.
Osimhen recently signed a new deal with Napoli which contains a £113m release clause in it.
The Nigerian has scored 13 times across all competitions for Napoli this season and his 26 goals in 32 appearances last season inspired Napoli to their first Scudettoin 33 years. He also ended the season the top scorer in the Serie A last season.
