‘There are players who are attracted by Real Madrid, PSG, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea’

Napoli President, Aurelio De Laurentiis has questioned Victor Osimhen’s loyalty to the club but insists the Nigerian’s suitors will have to pay big money for

his services.

‘Osimhen is a great player, but we know Naples is a fantastic place, there are some players who fell in love and stayed there like Hamsik for 11 years. There
are also others who stayed for eight years.

And there are those who are attracted by Real Madrid, PSG, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea. So you can’t stop them, especially when they have a release
clause with which they can be bought.’

De Laurentiis believes Osimhen can only leave if his suitors pay the exact amount in his release clause.

‘He has a release clause. It’s a very high figure,’ insists the Napoli boss who refused to categorically say Osimhen will leave at the end of this season.

‘Who knows who will leave? We’ll see. Money is Napoli’s last problem. We have always made excellent signings as we have done in the past. We will do the same
in the future. When you see a player leaving is like a son.

You are happy even if this son has fantastic success everywhere.’

Osimhen scored 26 times last season to inspire Napoli to their first Scudetto in 33 years.
