Trezeguet: Why ‘everyone wants’ to sign Osimhen

Juventus legend David Trezeguet says Napoli forward Victor Osimhen is the most sought after striker in world football today.

Liverpool have been the latest club to be linked to the Nigerian after Chelsea, Man United, Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur and PSG and Trezeguet extolled some of the qualities of the Nigerian that has made him the striker ‘everyone wants’.

“I’ve been following him, everyone wants him,” former Juventus striker Trezeguet told DAZN.

“Everyone talks about him, in Germany, in France…he already did well with Lille. Osimhen is a unique striker, the prototype of a modern striker. He is fast and moves so much on the pitch. I think he has improved and can become an important striker. He knows what to do in every moment of the game.”

Osimhen is Serie A’s leading scorer with 17 goals in 18 appearances this season.
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has recently admitted that he does not need to sell Osimhen or any of the club’s top players in the summer as Napoli are not struggling financially.
