Tuchel Keeps Mum On Bayern Munich Link With Osimhen

Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel says he will not comment on the Bavarian club’s link with Napoli hitman, Victor Osimhen.

German journalist and transfer expert, Florian Plettenberg believes the Nigerian international forward ‘is destined to play in the Bundesliga next season for Bayern Munich.’

Plettenberg says the Bayern are serious about signing the Nigerian who has scored 25 times in 29 games for Napoli this term.

‘The 24-year-old striker will definitely join Bayern in the summer! Further confirmations arrived Tuesday. The Bayern bosses like him very much.

‘His management and the player are aware of this. In the coming weeks, they could follow other talks. It’s about the price and Tuchel,” wrote the journalist earlier in the week.

Quizzed Friday by journalist at a press conference, Tuchel refused to confirm or deny the report.

Tuchel said: “I have an opinion on that – but I know how things work. If I say something about it and it spills over to Italy, then my colleague there will say: ‘Why doesn’t Thomas keep his mouth shut?’ – I’m not going to talk about players of other clubs.”
