Union Berlin interested Victor Boniface

Union Berlin are reportedly interested in signing Belgian Jupiler Pro League side, Union St Gilloise’s striker Victor Boniface, according to Voetbalkrant.

Boniface tormented the German side during their recent clash in the Europa League with the Belgian team winning 6-3 on aggregate.

The former Bodø/Glimt man has been in fine form during the sides European campaign, with five goals and two assists in eight games.

If Union want to sign the striker they will need to pay a reasonable fee, given that he is under contract until 2026.

Boniface joined Union St Gilloise in the summer of 2022 for around €2m from Norwegian club, Glimt. He scored 23 goals and provided eight assists in 66 times appearances for the club.

The Nigerian has netted14 goals and bagged eight assists for his Belgian Pro League side in 39 appearances so far this term.
